The Rise of Multi-polarity: Implications for Global Governance and International Security
The international system is currently passing through a fundamental change from a unipolar to a multipolar global order dominated by different strong states and non-state players. Indeed, the direction marks a significant turning point for global governance and international security. Multipolarity brings about chances and difficulties as it changes the configuration of power, economic relations, and security structures worldwide. In this paper, multipolarity is explored as it has risen, and its impacts on global governance structure and international security framework are scrutinized. The aim is to be able to, through a comprehensive analysis, present material on how multipolar world order is complex and how this actually affects global stability and cooperation.
